Queers On Wheels will be presenting our sexuality and disability workshop at the CP group conference. This session will focus on ways that adults with CP can enhance their sexual lives, including alternative ways of expressing sexuality. Because many adults use personal care assistants, the presentation will show how to hire and maintain healthy working relationships with PCA's who assist in helping adults in their sexual encounters. Other areas include how to talk to your lover about your disability, how and when to talk to your significant other about safer sex, the selection and use of sex toys, and assisted masturbation.
