Queers On Wheels created a resource
guide for disabled people who want to explore their sexuality. This guide includes
information about how to hire open minded and queer friendly aides, maintaining a good relationship with your aides, how to
adapt sex toys, sex positions, and assisted masturbation. Since this information is not readily available, we decided to put
all this information in one convenient place: the Queers On Wheels book! We hope
the guide helps other disabled people lead a complete and full life – one that incorporates sexuality.

On Wheels book is below
Creating a personal professional relationship with your aides
...The most important thing about being a successful employer is creating a personal professional relationship
with your aides. This relationship is much different from a typical employee-employer relationship, because your aide is so
involved in your personal life. It is important to treat your aide as a whole person. If you treat them as just your hands
or as just your servant, they will feel like that is all they are to you. Like any employee, your aide needs to feel appreciated.
Treat your aide how you want them to treat you. This does not mean that you should not be the boss; being an assertive boss
helps people know what you want. However, you should value your aide as a human being. Talk to them; help them understand
who you are and what their role is in your life. Listen to them if they have questions, concerns, or problems with your requests.
Having an open discussion helps everyone feel comfortable. Do not be afraid to have a friendship with your aide, just be sure
to keep the professional relationship too. Having an aide can be an enriching experience for both of you...
